A huge storm wrecks the Swiss Family Robinson's ship en route to Australia. Heroically all six of them - mother, father and four boys - fight their way toward a distant island. Surviving the storm is only the first of their many adventures together as they depend on each other and grow into a stronger family that thrives when others would despair.
